Welcome to our Rose Line, a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Rose Line and the magic of pure rose absolute! We’ve poured our passion into creating a luxurious collection featuring a Cleanser, Toner, Moisturizer Cream, and exquisite Perfumes.

Each product is infused with our very own rose absolute, lovingly extracted from Damask Roses, Fantin-Latour Centifolia Roses, and precious Heirloom Fragrant Old Roses.

Our 2025 vintage promises to deliver the most breathtaking scents imaginable, all grown right here at Aqua Ciele e Terre, nestled in the high-altitude beauty of Sonoita, Arizona.

Our journey began unexpectedly. After clearing a space for a casita for my mother-in-law, Joyce, we realized she needed more care than we could provide at home. Our neighbor, Rick, ever the inspiration, remarked on the newly opened area and shared how beautifully roses flourish in Sonoita’s high altitude.

The conversation initiated a deep exploration into the world of roses. It was discovered that while hybrid roses dominate the market, old roses were often overlooked.

The dream to cultivate Damask, Gallicas, Bourbons, and other historic varieties was realized. The project also embraced the joy of color, weaving in favorite hybrids and English roses to create a vibrant garden.

Diversity is key to a thriving, sustainable garden. The rose beds are bordered with a variety of life, such as vertical Apple trees, Desert Willow, Mountain Fuji Cherries, Dwarf Peaches, Olives, Pear, Lime, Tangerines, Kumkuat, Yusu, Iris, Jasmines, Crape myrtle, Lilacs, and Hydrangeas. Success was evident when birds began nesting in the rose bushes!

The incredible impact this rose garden would have on the lives of those involved was not known at the start!

The first rose absolute extraction in 2024 resulted in a magnificent red syrup absolute with an unbelievably captivating scent. The harvest was carefully divided into two collections: Damask and a Heirloom mix. The line of perfumes was then created!

In 2025, the harvest was categorized into five distinct expressions: Damask, Bourbon, Gallicas, Fantin-Latour, and an English, French, and Old Roses Mix. This allows for a better understanding of each scent’s characteristics to select the perfect absolute for every product.

A larger area for Damask, Bourbon, Gallicas, Fantin-Latour, and English, French, and Old Roses is being developed. This expansion will uphold the commitment to diversity, incorporating an even richer tapestry of plants, including: Apple Trees, Blackberries, Blueberry Japanese trees, Burning Bush, Cherry, Crape Myrtles, Pineapple Guava, Hawthorns, Hydrangeas, Magnolia, Pomegranates, and Wine Grapes.

With a dry spring and late monsoon season, proactive preparation for the future includes embracing more Trees. Thirty-one trees have been planted, and more are planned for the fall. Trees provide shade and contribute to humidity, which in turn helps create rain. A resilient and thriving sanctuary for roses and more is being created.
