Have you ever sat across from a blooming rose bush and felt enveloped by it’s fragrance?
Most people are exposed to cut roses but have rarely experienced roses in a rose garden setting. Once you have experienced being surrounded by roses you will never see a rose in the same way ever!
When we decided to create a Rose garden we wanted cut roses and the perpetual English roses with their amazing beauty and continuous cycle of blooms.
Our acquaintance with growing Heirloom, English and Tea roses is not entirely new since we have grown already a collection of 15 roses in our backyard and in the East vineyard from where we harvest the petals to make our Rose Water.
My Rose encounter with a heirloom that would change everything was a Damask rose named Celsiana. This delicate dainty rose surprised me with its unsurpassable fragrance and beauty. I fell in love!
What changed my mind as I started the research to purchase the Roses for the new space, was an article about how heirloom roses where going extinct and are not longer available in garden centers which are now populated with hybrid roses with very little fragrance.
I found myself re-imagining this new project to do my part in saving these beautiful plants for future generations. After all if heirlooms could be as beautiful and fragrant as Celsiana, even if they bloomed a couple of times a year it would still be amazing.
Keeping this garden just for me and my family didn’t seem fair. The idea of sharing this Rose garden with the community made sense and the Aqua Ciele e Terre Private Rose garden was born.
The new Aqua Ciele e Terre Private Rose Garden host a collection of heirloom roses surrounded by English Roses. We are so proud to share our Private Rose Garden collection to the public and count on your support to continue this endeavor of saving the heirloom roses and increasing our rose collection.

Our Private Collection has a sampler of rare varieties heirloom roses dating back to 1748 and some modern David Austin Hybrids.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Our Private Rose Garden is the most beautiful place to host an event, a cocktail party or any celebration.
With over 3,200 square feet among rose beds, it has the capability up to 100 easily.
If you would like to host an event in the garden please contact us. We only have limited amount of event opportunities available per year.
* Donation Memberships, Garden Donors and Daytime Visit Donations are used for the maintenance of our Private Rose Garden and to expand the collection. These donations are non tax deductible.
